Poor starfish. I saw 3 dead ones today. They're beautiful creatures-  I hope they aren't endangered.

I like to pin quotes on Pinterest like a maniac. I like funny quotes, inspiring quotes, random quotes...One that stood out to me recently was "What would you do if you weren't afraid?" It got me thinking. And basically, here's what I would do if I wasn't so scared of life- which I'm not- usually. But, you know.

I'd participate endlessly in class discussions.
I'd runaway to Hollywood and try my hand at showbiz.
I'd film YouTube videos.
I'd sing all day, everyday, everywhere.
I'd travel the world without making plans.
I'd be a flight attendant so I could get cheap air flights.
I'd take road trips alone.
I'd climb a mountain in Switzerland.
I'd go scuba diving for long lost treasure.

I really don't feel like I'm missing out too much by not being brave enough to do these things, but sometimes I have to wonder "what if" and "why not." I'll never say never, though. What would you do if you weren't afraid?

P.S. As usual, the blog post has nothing to do with the pictures I post... haha

  1. thank you for your lovely comment on my blog! maybe you could start out by doing one or two things on your list? like a video. i actually tend to sing when i'm out in public (shopping or something), and then stop as soon as someone's looking. no, that wasn't me, what are you looking at?

  2. In the past I've found myself too often in the situation where my lack of bravery has stopped me from doing something. But I guess I'm changing and I'm not so afraid of doing things as I was before. Or perhaps you could just call it growing up :)
Your blog is very lovely, by the way. And thank you for visiting mine :)

  3. Hello from Spain: interesting question. As we fulfill years we are less afraid to do what we want. I like the pictures of your walk on the beach. Keep in touch

    1. Thanks! :) I will "maybe" try one or two on this list but most likely, I am just not brave enough...we'll see.

  8. Lovely photos as always Victoria, the place you live is so picturesque! It must be wonderful to walk beside the sea often. I love your list of things you'd do if you weren't afraid, I think the first most approachable one is to film a Youtube video - you should totally do it!!! :) I'd love to watch it, my blog post of the week on my Little Five Friday today is actually a video post tag, called the TMI tag. Maybe you'd like to give that a go? :) I'm not sure if the Little Deer blogger programme is open worldwide, but you should contact Jade via the website and enquire, you never know! I'm glad you thought Rufus's princess bed is as sweet as I do haha, though sadly he doesn't sleep in it, it's more of a boredom breaker. He will get in and sit in it, but the bed he sleeps in is a wooden house full of lots of comfy bedding! xxx
