Letters to my world

Dear Pandora radio, thank you for playing all the right songs at the right time. P.S. I only wish I could press repeat to hear a song more than once in a row because I'm obsessive like that.

Dear wind outside my window, are you threatening to take the roof off? It's insane- I feel like I'm in the Wizard of Oz tornado.

Dear pointless history class, please don't cause me anymore anxiety attacks. I can't be so afraid of participating in class discussions-it's getting ridiculous. Still, I can't help myself.

Dear dry shampoo, you smell good and make my hair look somewhat clean, but why must you leave a white powdery residue? My scalp can produce dandruff on its own, thank you very much.

Dear classical music, you take me away to a far away magical  land where the grass is green, skies sparkle, and everyone lives in a castle.

Dear music class, why do you have to be a morning class that stretches throughout 3 days of the week? Couldn't we just cram it all into one or two afternoons?

Dear midnight, you arrive so quickly. I always say I'm going to bed before you arrive but here we meet again.

Dear Djinn Djinn, you're the best doggie in the world even though you don't like wearing your denim jacket that is way too cute on you (P.S. you won't have to wear it- stop giving me those little sad eyes with the eyebrows).

Post idea originated from The Freckled Fox.

  1. I think I get it why he doesn't like the denim jacket. Is he the type that like soft fabric? Love the idea of this post! If I'm to write a letter to the rain, I'd tell it to please take a break and let a few sun rays shine through.

  3. That brainstorming we were doing, this should be one! A link-up, or something. If this were your guest series, I don't know if people would care to read enough about strangers, but this could be something!

I love when Pandora gets it all right. The Fariborz Lacini station plays haunting and beautiful piano songs, if you want another station :)
I think that pup should just suck it up and wear the denim.

  4. I loved reading this post! I am like that as well, when I hear a song I like, I play it on repeat till I am sick of it. Haha. Ah Djinn Djinn looks adorable in that jacket! Just the cutest!

  7. I'm exactly the same with listening to songs over and over - lately I've been listening to the Of Monsters And Men album on repeat, over and over and over again. It's beautiful! I hope your anxiety in history class eases soon lovely, anxiety is an awful thing. Midnight does arrive too quickly! I keep saying I want to get earlier nights but it doesn't seem to happen. I think after all the excitement of Christmas and New Year, getting back into a regular routine again takes some adjusting. Ahhh look at sweet little Djinn Djinn and his puppy dog eyes!!! He does look rather sad to be wearing his jacket, bless him! xxx
